This April, we had the incredible opportunity to represent Indeville Design Studio at Startup Mahakumbh 2025: India’s biggest celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable solutions. Held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the event brought together thousands of startups and changemakers from across the country.
We were proud to be invited to exhibit our work at a dedicated pod, under the Design & Sustainability track. Our stall was an attraction for nature lovers, collaborators, and curious visitors, for unique bamboo products, as well as landscaping and design visuals.
A Quick Look at Startup Mahakumbh
After the enormous success of its first edition in 2024—graced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi—Startup Mahakumbh returned in 2025 with even more energy, ambition, and purpose. It was held from April 3 to 5, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Further, FICCI organized the event with the support of DPIIT, Startup India, and the NSAC.
This year, the event focused on the theme ‘Startup India @2047: Unfolding the Bharat Story.’ It was a platform to showcase the growth and future vision of India’s startup ecosystem. As a result, it became a hub for entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and global partners with over 3000 exhibitors, 1000+ investors, and participation from 50+ countries.
Dedicated pavilions covered key sectors like AI, AgriTech, HealthTech, ClimateTech, FinTech, and Defence, offering startups a platform to exhibit, connect, and grow. The three-day event included exhibitions, masterclasses, pitches, and panel discussions to provide meaningful opportunities for collaboration and exposure.
In addition, prominent figures like Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, Nithin Kamath, Alok Mittal, and Arvind Gupta were part of the event’s leadership team, making it a standout moment in India’s entrepreneurial journey.
Our Invitation to the Mahakumbh 2025
It was a great honour for Indeville Design Studio to be part of Startup Mahakumbh 2025, under the Startup Bihar Pavilion.
We were also part of the very first Mahakumbh held in 2024, so being invited again this year meant a lot. And while reflecting on our journey, we can’t forget the proud moment when our founders talked about Indeville Design Studio and shared our story in an interview last year with Sansad TV.
To be honest, this year felt like a chance to continue sharing our journey and to learn from others. Our goal in joining Startup Mahakumbh was to promote spaces that are natural, sustainable, and rooted in Indian materials and design practices.
Indeville Design Studio is a one-stop solution for biophilic landscape design, architecture services, bamboo construction, custom furniture, green interiors, and solar installation. Through this platform, we raised awareness towards protecting our environment and integrating nature into all spaces.
Mahakumbh 2025 provided us the right space to share our ideas and show how we’re trying to build differently. We spoke about our commitment to eco-friendly materials, local craftsmanship, and designing with care for people and the planet.
Our founder, Arpit Krishan, was there at the event, meeting visitors, sharing our work, and answering questions. Through his conversations, people got to understand our business motto, vision, journey, and values.
We’re thankful to Startup India, Startup Bihar, and the Ministry of MSME for this opportunity. It helped us connect with the right people and share the heart behind our work.
Inside Our Stall: What We Showcased
At Indeville’s pods, visitors experienced a tactile journey into biophilic and sustainable design. Our showcase included:
Product Display
We exhibited our bamboo planters, types of pots, and simple decor items made with natural materials.
Brochures & Flyers
Printed brochures and flyers were handed out with details about our services, products, and completed projects.
Project Showcase
There was a digital display featuring our top work across residential, commercial, corporate, and government sectors.
Spotlight on Bamboo
We created an informative section showing the entire bamboo process, from cultivation and curing to processing and product making.
Live Interaction
Our founder, Arpit Krishan, was present at the stall to connect with visitors personally and share our story, values, and future plans.
Our Experience: Conversations, Collaborations & Community
To say the least, our time at Startup Mahakumbh 2025 was full of learning, meaningful conversations, and new connections. So, here’s what made it truly special for us:
- We met architects, interior designers, and like-minded entrepreneurs who were intrigued by our sustainable initiatives and practices.
- Subsequently, we had inspiring conversations with government officials and global delegates who showed genuine interest in our bamboo work.
- Our use of natural materials and innovative design attracted many visitors, generating strong B2B and B2C connections.
- We also explored exciting innovations at the AgriTech and Energy & Climate Tech zones. Honestly, it was inspiring to see how new technology is transforming farming, waste reuse, clean energy, and sustainable living.
- Listening to industry leaders and startup founders during the panel discussions gave us valuable insights into where the ecosystem is heading.
- Lastly, we also had the chance to speak with Smt. Bandana Preyashi, who was then with the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar. Her kind words and encouragement meant a lot to us and our journey ahead.
Looking Back at Startup Mahakumbh 2025
To summarize, Startup Mahakumbh 2025 was a meaningful experience for us. It gave us a chance to share our work with a larger audience, meet inspiring people, and learn from other innovative businesses across the country.
Further, we’re truly thankful to Startup India, Startup Bihar, DPIIT, and the Ministry of MSME for supporting our journey and giving us this platform. The event helped us grow, not just in visibility, but also in ideas, confidence, and connections.
We return from this experience with fresh energy, new collaborations, and a stronger belief in our purpose. Currently, we’re excited to take these learnings forward as we continue building spaces rooted in nature, long-lasting, and crafted with care.
We hope to be back at Startup Mahakumbh next year, with even more to share.
